The OneStop Reclamation Certificate and Onestop Application tool will be unavailable from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Monday April 23rd while the AER performs maintenance and updates to the system.

Expand to view Alberta Responsible Energy Policy System (AREPS)

The AREPS portal provides access to public policies relating to the development of upstream oil, gas, oil sands and coal. Users are able to identify and access policy documents from this easy to use platform.

AREPS gives access to directives, interim directives, information letters and manuals from the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) and polices from the Government of Alberta (Energy and Environment and Sustainable Resource Development (ESRD)). The lower Athabasca Regional Plan and the Wetlands Policy from ESRD are fully searchable.

The digital data submission (DDS) system is used to electronically submit information to the AER. The DDS is used by industry members to submit

- applications,

- well test data,

- licence transfers,

- well drilling completion data, and

- inspection notification data.

Expand to view Environmental Site Assessment Repository (ESAR)

The Environmental Site Assessment Repository (ESAR) is a searchable, online database that provides scientific and technical information about assessed and reclaimed sites throughout Alberta.

Environmental site assessments determine the quality of soil and groundwater of a site, such as retail gas stations and other commercial and industrial sites. A site assessment does not necessarily mean a site is, or ever was, contaminated.

ESAR makes available reclamation certificates issued by Environment and Parks (previously Environment and Sustainable Development) prior to March 24, 2014 for upstream oil and gas well sites and other specified lands on private land and the associated file information for the certificates (e.g., applications, reports).
